Bangladesh proudly participated in Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards 2025 through Bangladesh ICT & Innovation Network (BIIN), representing the nation's finest achievements in technology and innovation. This participation underscored Bangladesh's growing expertise in the ICT sector and highlighted the creativity and excellence of its innovators on a prestigious international platform.
Through BIIN—Bangladesh's official member organization of APICTA—20 nationally recognized projects were facilitated to compete at APICTA Awards 2025 held in Taiwan, one of the most esteemed ICT competitions in the region, often referred to as the "ICT Oscars of the Asia-Pacific." This initiative provided invaluable international exposure and fostered opportunities for cross-border collaboration.
Bangladeshi innovators achieved outstanding success at the event, securing accolades across multiple categories at this distinguished Asia Pacific ICT & Innovation platform. Two projects, "Nyajjomullo (Fair Price)" and "Safestep" earned 2nd Runner-Up position and "Radsafe" project received a Merit Award.
Bangladesh's excellence extended even further at APICTA 2025 with additional notable achievements: A student of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), made history by winning the Silver Prize and a USD 5,000 award at the Mega Day Startup Pitch hosted by National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Taiwan.
In the Code Judger Workshop Competition, a student of North South University emerged as Champion, while another student of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) earned First Runner-Up position.
These remarkable accomplishments demonstrate Bangladesh's growing influence in the global ICT arena and reflect the nation's unwavering commitment to innovation, talent, and technological advancement.
